Scholarships
As a non-profit, educational organization, Peak Rescue has been the beneficiary of many corporations and individuals who share our commitment to training those who work and volunteer in the rescue community. Because of our donors’ generosity, we are able to offer scholarships to both individual students for our Joshua Tree courses and to teams and other organizations for training at their locations.
If you or your team are interested in applying for a scholarship please download the appropriate application guidelines and follow the instructions. There is no need to go through the online registration process until you have been awarded a scholarship.
The Individual Scholarship Application is for a student wishing to attend a regularly scheduled course. Individual applications are due each year on December 31st for the course during the following April.
The Organizational Scholarship Application is for a training officer or team leader to request a spot for a person or persons to attend a class. If a spot is granted, the specific student will be agreed upon by the agency and Peak well in advance of the course. For our April course, this application is due on the prior December 31st. For regional contract courses, applications are due at an agreed-upon date.
